Ribs Platter
I'm a lifetime lover of BBQ. I was born and raised just outside of Kansas City. I would have no problem at all with treating family from home to a fantastic meal at RIBS. I've had just about everything on the menu but love the ribs and the pulled pork the most.
Buffalo Rib Ends
I am a big fan of this dish. Intimidated by the sauce, get it in the side. Great BBQ
The New Mexico Philly
Outstanding! This hoagie is stuffed full of everything good: meat, green chile, cheese, yadda yadda yadda. A favorite!
RIBS' House Margarita
Sublime and huge! Compliments any entree and don't let it's clear appeal creep up on you! It's a kaboom in an iced filled tumbler. Mmmmmm!
Fried Okra
The best homemade fried okra out there! As a fried okra aficionado - look no further! There's none better! N just like potato chips in the bag that are all twisted n fried together are sought out, so is finding the two okra slices clinging together inside that crispy batter! Wonderful!!! My favorite side for sure ๐ค๐
Grilled Reuben
There's a reason to have this sandwich at the top of the menu. It's superb and I recommend onion rings on the side.
Brisket
Saturday afternoon, Jason Isbell on the radio and the prettiest thing I ever seen sittin across from me. We start with the bread pudding and two whiskeys on ice, the February sunshine warms our shoulders (or was that the whiskey?) and the bread pudding sets in. Soft pillows perfectly set in bourbon sauce that my grandma wouldn't scoff at. The conversation and whiskey flows and we both reminisce on the imagery conveyed in this grained wood table, the mountains behind us, the laughter floating across the dining hall. Next, the Brisket. For five years I woke at dawn, chopped white oak and set coals, smoking meat as my livelihood. This brisket brought me right back, those foggy mornings when nothing could cure me besides that first slab, watching that first cut of smoked bark. Memories, this meal brought us to our past and then full circle right back to this table where the love of my life sat smiling across from me. This is what food is all about and I'll be damn sure we never forget this meal.
Catfish Filet
My first visit to RIBS was for my birthday when a dear friend brought me here. Who happens to be from Texas and also KC's Patrick Mahome's auntie. Well, there is no arguing that both Texas and KC are Huge BBQ states and I've been to both. Well, that first NM catfish dinner was only the beginning of so many amazing edibles! Now I'm hooked! And sharing their great menu choices with the masses so they can be hooked too! What's better than great ingredients, great food, great people, genuine Americans banding together for genuine goodness! Yep, nothing!!!
Bosque Scotch Ale
This beer ๐บ is absolutely perfect! But, beware, it's as strong ๐ช as a Scottish-man splitting would in the winter ๐ฅถ at 30 below! It's right up there with Santa Fe Brewing Company's Chicken Killer. Wonderful taste, but if ye dare have 2, you'll need a driver ๐โ๏ธ๐
Smoked Beans
My mom brought my family here for our Christmas dinner. I've been taking online college cooking classes as I'm from a family of amazing chefs! And I couldn't stop talking about these amazing baked beans!!! I kept asking everyone at the table to taste them! I wanted to share what I found to be so delectable! Everything was amazing! We've started a Christmas tradition for sure๐ค
